1. Q: Does Topax charge for
site visits and estimates?
A: No, its free! Our sales representatives will travel all over Southern Ontario and the Near
North to provide your company with professional recommendations and a comprehensive written quotation.

2. Q: How long does it take to get a quotation?
A: Our standard turn around time for a quotation is just one day. For more urgent requirements we can provide
a limited number of quotations on a same day basis. For very large or complicated projects we may need a few
days, subject to your prior approval.

3. Q: How does Topax provide accurately priced quotations so quickly?
A: We derive all of our prices from our computerized job costing system. Our prices are accurate; so you
can fully rely on your quotation.

6. Q: Where is Topax located?
A: We are centrally located, at Highway #407 and Dufferin Street. We have excellent access to all major
highways and are conveniently close to CN Concord, CP Vaughan and CN Brampton. Topax is only 20 minutes from
Toronto, Pearson International Airport.

7. Q: What kind of standardization system does Topax employ, if any?
A: Topax employees must adhere to a series of packaging specifications, procedures and quality assurances, as
outlined in our Topax Quality Manual.

8. Q: Are Topax personnel trained to the latest safety standards?
A: Definitely. Our team is highly qualified and receives extensive training on a regular basis with regard to
health & safety, technical and on-the-job procedures.
Our formally trained packagers are certified crane & forklift operators.
We provide WHMIS, propane & a wide variety of equipment, safety training.
The entire team works on continuous improvement to maintain our excellent WSIB safety rating.

9. Q: Topax has a reputation for engineering large packing for heavy machinery. Do you also coordinate smaller
jobs?
A: Yes! Our highly skilled packaging team handles everything from electronics, to measuring equipment, to
pianos, to valuable artwork. If you are ever at the Inn on the Park in London, England, you will surely notice
the beautiful surroundings. We packaged everything in the restaurant from the walls to the glass sculptures!
For large, heavy cargo we offer the following:

10. Q: Can Topax arrange picking & packing?
A: Yes, and we have excellent tracking and sorting procedures.

11. Q: Do you offer skids or pallets in bulk?
A: We provide medium quantities of skids and pallets. We are particularly helpful if you are looking for
specialized skids with cradles, cushions or tie downs.

12. Q: Can Topax handle container loading?
A: Topax loads cargo into or onto containers every day. We also provide blocking and securing for standard,
high-cube, open-top and flat rack containers.

13. Q: Can Topax provide HT 56/30 (heat treated, bug free packaging) for the European Union?
A: Topax was the third company in Canada to be approved under the Canadian Wood Packaging Certification
Program (CWPCP). In fact, CFIA trained their inspectors at our facility. We are fully qualified to provide
certified HT 56/30 packaging. Heat treated wooden packing is compliant with regulations of the European Union
and a growing contingent of countries, including among others, China, Korea and Argentina.
